Meet Hamlet

Say hi to my leopard gecko! :D I took some photos of him in his new vivarium and thought it would be fun to share them with you guys.  Leopard geckos aren't very big lizards and are pretty easy to look after, plus they come in a variety of gorgeous colours and patterns.  Hamlet is yellow, white and purple with lots of black spots.  It took me ages to convince my parents to let me have a lizard but they love him now!  One thing I love about leopard geckos is that they appear to be smiling all the time which is adorable.

I'm not going to be around much for the next couple of weeks as I had an operation last Wednesday and need to recover.  I also have a uni deadline coming up and have so much work to do D:  It's going to be hectic and I'll be glad when it's over :)

Anyway I'd love to hear about any pets you have!  If you've written a blog post about them feel free to link me to it ♥

Awhh what a lovely boy! I really like the name Hamlet too! He does look like he's smiling! So cute! Can he run around outside of his vivarium too?

I've got updated pictures of the German Shepherd on my blog if you're interested, he's a little chunker haha!

    1. Yep we take him out of his viv sometimes so he can wander about on my bed. We monitor him though as he can get spooked and attempt to jump off! He has a habit of trying to jump off our hands when we carry him haha!

  4. He is so adorable, I've always wanted a leopard gecko. I also really like bearded dragons but in reality they're quite big and I do get quite nervous around animals so gecko's are probably a lot more suited to me. I only keep fish but I have about 50 in my aquarium at the moment. I think I mentioned to you in a comment on your last post that I work in an aquarium so I get the opportunity to work with larger species and even occasionally turtles! I also noticed that you followed me on tumblr, thank you I'm following back now x

    1. Leopard geckos are usually really laid back, and so are bearded dragons but they do get big :) I have some friends who own one, and their kids have picked it up so often that it just doesn't care anymore and is used to being held roughly!

I'm so jealous that you get to work in an aquarium! I'd love to work with animals. The closest I've ever come is volunteering in an RSPCA charity shop :'D
